Double Edged Coast - New Bedford 02745

The best thing about living on the coast is, well… the coast! Until it’s not.

Being so close to the water is a special treat during the summer months. The days where you pack a lunch and a beach chair and head to the shores to sink your feet in the sand and try your best to catch a tan are the days we remember and miss the most when fall and winter creep in.

Though we may not always be able to dip our feet in the pool or the ocean during the winter months, we may walk into a pool party in our living room if we’re not careful with our insulation and piping systems. Ensuring your home is properly insulated will go a long way to keep you from falling victim to the same elements that draw you to this region in the first place. Burst pipes are one of the main causes of water damage during the winter months. The bitter cold, especially if your property is on the waterfront can wreak havoc in your home if it’s not adequately prepared for it. Burst pipes are one of the major reasons our crews at SERVPRO of Dartmouth / New Bedford are called in to help.

Thankfully, even when the storms come and the stores are emptied of milk and bread, SERVPRO of Dartmouth / New Bedford is always available to help. No matter the weather, we’ll be there for whatever!
